Junior Research Fellows

Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) are a key part of the College, contributing to a vast spectrum of world-leading research, representing multiple University departments and hailing from diverse international backgrounds.

JRF

A thriving academic community

Wolfson College is home to an active research community of more than 30, non-stipendiary, Junior Research Fellows. Up to ten new JRFs are appointed each year, under Title BI. The competition for JRFs starting in 2025 will open in summer 2024 and details will be advertised here.

All of our current JRFs can be found by selecting 'Junior Research Fellow" under 'Fellow Type' on our 'People' section.

"The College benefits enormously from the presence of early career academics. They bring new ideas to the fore, they mentor and inspire our graduate students, and they epitomize the diverse and international nature of our community." Professor Jane Clarke
