New Wolfson Student Churen Li Given Music Award

Churen Li

New Wolfson student, Singaporean pianist Churen Li (MPhil in Music), has been awarded a prestigious Instrumental Award for Chamber Music by the University. This intercollegiate scheme exists to promote chamber music amongst students of the University. The award is open to undergraduates and postgraduates at all Colleges.

Wolfson was the first postgraduate college to participate in the scheme when it was opened up to postgraduates a few years ago, and Churen is the first Wolfson student to have received an award.

In addition to receiving the University Instrumental Award for Chamber Music, Churen has been awarded and accepted our Brian Moore Accompanist Scholarship and will be the choir’s regular accompanist this year.

Some of Churen's beautiful performances are available on YouTube. We look forward to seeing her soon at Wolfson concerts. Many congratulations to Churen.
